Are you looking for an evening filled with magical 1960’s masterpieces?

Well, you can fall in love all over again with popular hits by Burt Bacharach, performed by a full 50 piece Orchestra. The Best of Burt Bacharach will be on at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, on Friday 16th February at 7:30pm.

From a cramped office in New York emerged the soulful sound of a maverick songwriter – Burt Bacharach. The classically trained composer filled the 1960’s airwaves with a singular style of song that defied pop music conventions, but topped pop music charts.

Together with Hal David, Bacharach wrote the compulsively catchy I Say a Little Prayer, Walk On By and many more iconic hits.

The concert will include popular 1960’s classics such as; I’ll Never Fall in Love Again, What the World Needs Now, Alfie and The Look of Love, plus more. Bringing these songs to life will be guest singers; Graham Bickley, Mary Carewe, Alison Jiear, Abbie Osman and Gareth Hudson (conductor).
